Women Open Division
Womens Open Division
$875 USD Entry Fee, plus NACBA Membership Fee ($100 USD for returning teams) or ($200 USD for new teams). Plus $300 USD Refundable Deposit
Description: In 2025, C.A.S.E. San Francisco Believers captured their second Women’s championship. Their energy, passion, and teamwork is something to admire. Let’s see who can challenge them in 2026.
* Note: All participants must be at least 16 years old and can play for only one team throughout the tournament unless approval from the governing board is given
* Rule #15 Player Exception: This rule only applies to teams with 7 or less players on the roster. Approval will be required from the governing body. Eligible player(s) in the Girls 18u division can also participate in the in this division. No more than 3 players total can be added to a Women’s Open team. If you have any questions about this exception, contact the Tournament Committee.
* Teams interested in participating in this division should inform us as soon as possible so that we can network with other teams with the same interest.
Division Formats:
- 4-8 teams – Minimum of four teams required to stage this division
- Each team is guaranteed to play in a minimum of 3 games throughout the tournament.
- After initial round robin group play, select teams from each group will advance into the playoff/championship round. A consolation round may be held contingent upon the number of teams entered.
- Championship game to be played on Monday
Women Liberty Division

*May be combined with Women’s Open. Dependent upon number of teams entered

Description: This division is ideal for newly formed teams, Girls 18u teams or teams on the rise prior to moving up to the women’s open. Either way, this division is about making friends and playing some hoops at the same time. Past winners include Vancouver Strathcona, NY Lady Rockits and Toronto CCYAA.
Additional Eligibilities: All participants must be at least 13 years old and can play for only one team throughout the tournament.
Teams interested in participating in this division should inform us as soon as possible so that we can network with other teams with the same interest.

- Each team is guaranteed to play in a minimum of 3 games throughout the tournament

Girls 18U Division

*Only if 4 or more teams can commit (may be combined with Women’s Liberty division)
$850 USD Entry Fee, plus NACBA Membership Fee ($100 USD for returning teams) or ($200 USD for new teams). Plus $300 USD Refundable Deposit
Description: The opportunity for those who are still new to the game to compete and experience the tournament.
* Rule #15 Player Exception: Eligible player(s) in the Girls 18u division can also participate in the Women’s Open or Women’s Liberty division. Each Women’s Open/Liberty team is allowed to to add no more than 3 players total who are also participating in the Girls 18u division. Please note, this is only possible if the team in the women’s open or liberty has 7 or less players. If you have any questions about this exception, contact the Tournament Committee.

Additional Eligibilities:
- Girls 18 or under as of June 1, 2026 - In other words, anyone who turns 19 after June 1st will be eligible to participate in the tournament.
- All participants must be a minimum of 13 years old

Eligibilities & Rules Applicable to all Women’s and Girls Divisions:

Open to all participants of direct Chinese descent. Participants must be at least 25% Chinese (at least one grandparent must be 100% Chinese)
Each team is also allowed to carry no more than three (3) players of non-Chinese, East/Souteast Asian descent on its roster.ASIAN ELIGIBILITY FOR WOMEN/GIRLS: Only players of at least 25% East/Southeast Asian descent are eligible to participate in the tournament. The definition of East/Southeast Asian decent is as follows: at least one parent must be of 50% East/Southeast Asian heritage. (East/Southeast nationality is defined as: Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian, Burmese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Singaporean, and Japanese).
- At the tournament, all participants must be able to present official photo identification, passport, birth certificate, driver’s license, etc.) which proves their age and/or nationality. If a protest is lodged, the burden of proof is on each player to prove eligibility. Players should bring original copies of parents/grandparents documentation as verification if they feel that their eligibility will be challenged. Failure to do so will result in the player(s) disqualification from the tournament.
- Use of ineligible players will result in forfeiture of all games played and additional sanctions including, but not limited to, team disqualification from the tournament.
Game Formats Applicable to all Divisions:
- Maximum team roster of 12 players.
- 18 minutes per half, 3 timeouts per game, NACBA/NCAA/HIGH SCHOOL modified rules apply; all other rules to be announced at a later date.
- All games officiated by IAABO certified referees
