NACBA STAY & PLAY POLICY
A Stay and Play Policy has been put in place in order to ensure the success and viability of our tournament. It was implemented to increase the amount of room nights available to our participants, while assuring that everyone receives the highest quality of service during their stay in Toronto. As a result of the Stay and Play Policy, the NACBA is better able to prove our financial impact on the local economy, which continues to be essential in acquiring grants for our event.
All participating teams are required to reserve three (3) rooms for a minimum of three (3) nights at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago.
*Note: Teams that register first will get priority to book their hotel rooms first. A booking link will be sent to your coach, team organizer or team representative once your team is registered. Please contact them for more information.
ROSTER INFORMATION
A TEAM ROSTER must be submitted as soon as you register/pay your registration fees. A team roster link will be sent to you. This should include as many players and their emails that will be playing for your team. Players will then receive an email for them to register for the tournament. This will be helpful for our tournament staff to perform their duties.
Important notes regarding the submission of your team roster:
- If your organization has more than one team playing in the tournament, please use a specific name to designate each team (Do not use the same name for each team). For example, the NY Rockits will have a men’s team, Boys 18u, Boys 16u, Boys 14u team and a Women’s team. Each team name must be specific and different. The team names would be: Mens Open – NY Rockits AIA; Boys 18 – NY Rockits 18; Boys 16u – NY Rockits 16; Boys 14u – NY Rockits 14; and Women’s Open – NY Lady Rockits.
- Note: You will be able to add players to your roster in addition to making changes to your roster as long as they are completed by the roster submission deadline.
- Roster limit is 12 players per team.
*Players may participate on only one team and in only one division throughout the weekend. Offending teams will forfeit games played, and the ineligible player disqualified from the tournament.
*Exceptions to this rule are explained in detail for the following divisions: Masters, Grand Masters.
